Research Assistant
We are seeking several energetic and organized applicants to fill the Research Assistant positions.
The appointees will assist in research projects that investigate the basic biology of skeletal muscle regeneration, conduct research and perform general laboratory duties as assigned by the team leader. The appointees will also assist in performing experiments including animal surgery, biochemical assays and histology.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in biology, biochemistry or related disciplines with relevant work experience in biology/biochemistry laboratories. Knowledge of laboratory animal husbandry and adult stem cell biology will be an asset, but training can be provided if needed. This would be an ideal opportunity for those wishing to pursue a career in stem cell research. The appointees are expected to work independently in a thriving team environment. They should possess strong interpersonal skills as well as fluent English and Cantonese. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave and medical benefits (where applicable) will be provided.
