Benny received his Ph.D. in Computational Biology and Medical Sciences from the University of Tokyo in 2021. He then joined the Cheung lab as a Postdoctoral Fellow in March 2022. Benny was a research fellow (DC2) at the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science(JSPS) from 2020 to 2022. He is interested in the roles of post-transcriptional gene regulation and biomolecular condensates in muscle stem cell quiescence.
