Nicholas obtained his master’s degree in Biochemistry from University College London, United Kingdom in 2020. He returned to Hong Kong and joined the Cheung lab in September 2020 as a research assistant, studying the muscle stem cell niche. Using micro-dissection to isolate individual MuSC and the surrounding niche on frozen muscle sections, he looks at the proteomic differences in young and aged stem cell niche. He now also assists in grant application writing.
