Irene received her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology in 2021 from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She joined the Cheung lab in 2020 for her final year project. She was fascinated by the astonishing regenerative abilities of muscle stem cells during her work in the lab. Currently, she is studying the post-transcriptional regulation of muscle stem cells by microRNA. In her leisure time, she loves to cook and travel.
