Kangning obtained his bachelor’s degree at Nanjing University, China in 2014 and joined the Cheung lab as a postgraduate student. After receiving his Ph.D., he started working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Hong Kong Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (HKCeND).
The projects that he has been involved in over the past several years have focused on deciphering the mechanisms of the molecular regulation of stem cell quiescence and activation. His research interest is in stem cell biology and aging.
